If you’re looking for ways to look after your body without dieting and don’t know where to begin then don’t worry, you have definitely come to the right place. Whether you’re looking to make new habits or you want to take positive steps towards improving your health, looking after your body is important. Luckily, there are lots of great ways you can do exactly that without having to diet. From drinking water every day to making sure you keep moving, you may be surprised at the difference a few small changes can make in how you look and feel. So, let’s get to it. Here are five ways to look after your body without dieting:
1. Drink enough water daily
One of the best ways to look after your body is to ensure you’re drinking the recommended daily intake of water. Whether this mens you carry a water bottle around with you when you’re out and about or you use a hydration app to remind you to drink another glass, you need to be sure you’re getting at least two litres of water each and every day.
When it’s warm outside, this amount will most likely need to increase to avoid dehydration. For a guide to how much water you should be drinking in a day, you can visit this site here.
2. Move your body (without dieting)
Moving your body is a great way to ensure you’re looking after it. Although a lot of people believe this means you need to have an exercise routine that you follow each and every day, moving your body simply means moving at your own pace.
Whether that means walking around your local neighbourhood once a week or going swimming each morning, your body will thank you. For a list of great ways to move your body, you can visit this site here.
3. Consider a mercury detox
For those that don’t know, a mercury detox aims to get rid of harmful neurotoxins inside your nervous system. What? Yes, toxins could be in there!
Neurotoxin poisoning can lead to fatigue, depression, lethargy, lack of concentration, and memory problems. For more information about chlorella detox symptoms, you can visit this site here.

4. Without dieting, work on eliminating bad habits
Cutting down on bad habits may be hard, but it’s important if you want to look after your body. Do you smoke? Then do your best to cut out that habit.
Or, it could mean reducing the amount of alcohol you drink. Do all that you can to look after your health.
5. Spend time with people and things that make you happy
Looking after your mental health is another great way to ensure you’re looking after your body. To do that, yensure you’re spending time with people that make you happy. And spend your time doing activities that bring you joy, whether that is knitting, computer games, golf, or something else.
All without dieting
There are lots of great ways to look after your body! This list is not an exhaustive one. The point is to make sure you’re doing all that you can without dieting.

Many simple lifestyle habits can help you lose weight. Some have nothing to do with conventional diet or exercise plans. You can use smaller plates, eat more slowly, drink water, and avoid eating in front of the TV or computer.
Serving meals on smaller plates is a great suggestion.
Great list, Christy! May I add, get enough sleep? This is so important to our overall health.
Yessss! Thanks for adding “sleep” to this list, Amy!
One of the things “Lockdown Life” has taught me is that life is too short to diet. I’ve been walking, taken up running following the C25K plan (now up to 28 minutes), gardening and generally moving more. I haven’t lost weight but I have toned up, I feel better in myself and I have loads more energy. I’m eating what I want, treats are within reason and small. My muscles ache and I know that is because they are moving more. This is such a great post Christy, with so much focus these days on dieting it’s wonderful to see one that inspires us to do the right thing for our bodies :) xx
It’s so great to hear from you, Dawn! I like that you are feeling great and getting active ~ Knowing you’re having good days makes me happy :)

Agreed – I’m not a fan of diets!
After a certain age, they just don’t work!
So many diets are proven to be unhealthy at any age. I’m glad you’re not on board the diet train!
Great advice. I especially need to remember to keep active as I’m always so tired after bad nights with the baby. During definitely not an option. Thanks for this.
