We all feel down about the way we look from time to time. It’s not a nice feeling – after all, we have to look at ourselves every day, and we often hyperfocus on the areas we don’t like. Other people probably don’t even notice the things that we obsess about, but that doesn’t matter – when you have something about yourself that you don’t like, it can be difficult to get past it. 1. Go hard with your self care

Looking after yourself is so important and can make you feel much better, whatever your hang ups may be. Even celebrities have hang ups, as hard as that may be to believe.

Just because you’re not in love with what you see when you look in the mirror, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take care of yourself. Chances are that when you start treating yourself a little better, you’ll feel better, and you might even like what you see better too.

Some ways to be kind to your body are:

  • Taking baths with salts, bath bombs, and bubbles
  • Using luxurious body oils and creams
  • Paint your nails as a treat
  • Invest in great skincare

2. Stop comparing yourself is part of how to feel more attractive

Who gets to decide what beauty is, anyway? Don’t let anybody else tell you what is beautiful – and definitely don’t compare yourself!

If you feel like you need to look completely different each time you log into Instagram, unfollow those that make you feel that way. Maybe even have a social media detox.

Accepting yourself is so important, so remove anything that makes you feel less than. Its also a good time to stop buying into what society deems beautiful. You don’t have to be a perfectly toned size 6 with hair down to your bum to be gorgeous. How to feel more attractive starts now!

3. Find your style

Also, try finding your own personal style and dress in a way that makes you feel your best. The way you dress can have such a big impact on your overall mood.

If wearing bright clothes makes you happy, then do it. Don’t save any clothes for special occasions either. Why not?

That statement is especially true in today’s world with the novel coronavirus. Make yourself feel good every day by adorning yourself in ways that bring you comfort and enjoyment.

4. Focus on being healthy

When you simply focus on your health, looking good often comes as a bonus. Eating balanced meals, getting plenty of sleep, staying hydrated, and trying to hit around 8,000 steps a day is a great start.

Getting into a good routine will go a long way in your journey toward finding how to feel more attractive in your own eyes. You probably know why teeth cleaning is important, but do you go to regular dentist appointments? Make sure you’re keeping up with your health appointments too.

You might learn a language. Or, master an instrument you’ve never tried before.
