4 Surprisingly Easy Ways to Reinvent Your Look

reinvent your look

Are you ready to Reinvent Your Look? With every passing moment, everything about you is slowly and wonderfully changing. Indeed, by the time you reach the end of this day, you won’t quite be the person you were at the beginning, even if you don’t feel any different. Despite this constant state of flux, many of us find ourselves still trying to pull off looks chosen by past versions of ourselves that we have long since outgrown. Sound familiar? If so, you might want to try these easy ways to revamp your look.

If you’re feeling a bit flat and stuck in life, now is the perfect time to bust out of your style rut. Take charge of the changes! Craft them into a killer new look that suits the ever-evolving you.

1. Amp Up the Wattage On Your Smile

Coffee, wine, and cigarettes are commonly known to be the worst offenders, but even just the basic act of eating can gradually build up stains on your teeth. This is where professional teeth whitening comes in.

You can get an in-chair treatment done in only a couple of hours. It can zap away stains and give your teeth a smooth, pearly finish.

The feeling you get from powerful, and easy ways to revamp your look like dental improvement is one you have to experience to believe it. Not only can your teeth look sleek and bright, but you’ll also be unable to stop smiling. Among the many benefits of smiling is a boost to your mood and confidence.

2. Switch Up the Way You Work

By now, you’ve probably heard about the horrendous dangers of sitting all day at work. While the long-term health risks are troubling, it’s also worth paying attention to the immediate, daily impact all this sitting has on you.

Thus, if you’re looking for an instant boost to your mood, energy, posture, and appearance, one of the best things you can do is switch to a stand-up workspace or a fit ball. I’m considering getting a standing desk soon.

Either way, whether it’s the fit ball or standing desk option, you’ll work your core muscles and do wonders for your posture. While it seems counterintuitive, you’ll also discover that standing (or bouncing on a fit ball) while you work, weirdly leaves you with more energy.

You’ll notice a difference from the very first day and from then on, I hear – I’m looking forward to it! The benefits will just continue to compound too.

3. Easy Ways to Revamp Your Look: What about the Hair?

There’s a good reason why changing hairdo is the first trick in books or movies for characters looking to evade capture. Whether it’s a new color, cut, or both, overhauling your hair can make you look – and feel – like a whole new person.

For the best look, choose an experienced hairdresser who has a good reputation and experience with the style you’re after or specializes in funky hair colors if that’s what you’re craving today. If you’re not up for a radical new look, even just change the way you part your hair.

As I found out last month, adding bangs to my look boosted my self-confidence immediately! Or change up the styling products you use for a subtle yet tangible difference.

4. A Sneaky Trick to Lift Your Look

This last pick on the list of easy ways to revamp your look is a little sneaky. Like teeth whitening, getting your eyebrows shaped is a quick and easy process that has a monumental impact on your look. It’s amazing how profoundly your features can be improved by having a trained beautician work their magic on your brows.

Sure, you could go for eyebrow transplant surgery, but if you don’t make that commitment then go to the beauty professionals at Sephora, MAC, or another industry leader for a consult. I’m going to do that for my wedding day makeup so my bridal gals and I can perfect the look. Consultations can be free or super cheap so compare prices before you go and make an appointment too.

These beauty professionals know the most flattering shapes for each face type and can transform anyone’s look, regardless of gender. Just don’t try to reshape your brows yourself as the results could be disastrous.

Easy Ways to Revamp Your Look: Final Thoughts

Whether you choose one or all of these quick and easy overhauls, you’ll be striding into the future with newfound confidence. You’ll also embrace a look that reflects the endlessly changing and fabulous female that you are. Finger snap!

  1. The little things really can make a big difference. I keep toying with the idea of getting a fringe (bangs) again, but I know it’s really got on my nerves in the past getting in my eyes. At least I’ve dyed my hair again recently for the first time in about 2 years so that’s helped with boosting my confidence and making me feel a bit more ‘me’. Great tips – a little revamp can do wonders for the soul! :)

  2. What fun! I wanted to read because I’m always looking for fun ideas to stay “classic” yet “with the times.” lol. But, I usually cut my own hair, and keeping it short allows me to have the same no-fuss style year-round. But I DO have fun at thrift stores. When I get tired of my current lot of clothes, I donate them and get a new stock for pretty cheap. Hehe.
Now I have wanted to color my hair a fun color but have never had the courage to do it. Mostly because if it looks too unnatural, I won’t want to keep it for months. With my short hair that won’t be a big problem, but the other problem is spending so much money to have colored hair, only to have most of it grow out in a couple weeks. Haha.
In any case, I hope you’re well. Fun post. Enjoy a new start to your week!

Great suggestions! I’ll throw in one more that takes only a little more work: Get out and exercise. I find physical, mental, and emotional strength from this pretty simple act.

  4. Dolly Parton says the best thing we can put on our face is a smile! For the few of your posts I have been unable to get to read it via the Reader but today I was able to. Will go back and see if I can read those I missed.
