Merry Christmas 2023! And Happy New Year 🎉

So here we are again at this special time of year. It’s come so fast! I still can’t believe Christmas is only a few days away — Are you feeling the same way? It’s like December started, and then in a blink, it’s the week of Christmas… Wow!

The tree is up, the presents are not all wrapped yet (lol), and we are getting the booze for a holiday party. It will all come together, I know it, just as it always does. I am hoping you are enjoying the festive week, just as I am starting to do!

My husband and I watched Home Alone the other day, and I still found myself laughing at the same parts. The scene hen Kevin uses aftershave and screams after patting his cheeks makes me giggle. I never get tired of the movie at Xmas. We’ll watch the movie Love Actually soon too, as we do every year. I love these traditions hubby and I have created, with our three cats hanging out around us.

While I look around me at my family, I am reminded of all I have to be thankful for. Christmas really brings that up for me, and it might for you, too. One thing I am especially grateful for is all of you, my blogging community. You are like family, too — an online one!
