International Women’s Day 2022.
Today is a day to celebrate women around the world. All those who identify as women. Those who rise above challenges, from the gender stereotypes to the wage disparities. Those who question those wrongs.
Those who champion for change. Those who continue to reach for more, in their family, career, and other areas of everyday life.
It is you who I raise a glass today and every day to cheer you on. You are beautiful.
By the way, the word women includes trans people. The word includes anyone and everyone who identifies as a woman.
You can accomplish more – Be confident in your pursuits and be bold in your passions. Demand more opportunities.
Let’s stand together. I hold out my hand to meet yours. Together we can accomplish so much more than alone.
Gender equality is not here yet but there are gains and we use those to further our goal to achieve it. Let’s do this.
On International Women’s Day and every other day of the year, it is you women who I celebrate.
