If you want to encourage relationships and strengthen connections between female leaders, then you won’t want to miss this fall event. The Women’s Leadership Summit 2019 is set to take place at the College of New Jersey on November 6th, 2019.
If you plan to attend the Summit, below are some details about it, so you know what to expect and can hopefully spread the word. The one-day function brings together women leaders from around the world.
Women’s Leadership Summit 2019: What you need to know
Doors open at 8:30 AM and close at 3:00 PM. Tickets to the summit range in price from $87.50 to $100 and are available for purchase online.
Ladies who register for the event receive quite a bit along with their admission:

- Keynote session featuring Valerie Young
- Book signing event for Valerie’s inspirational work, The Secret Thoughts of Successful Women: Why Capable People Suffer from Imposter Syndrome and How to Thrive in Spite of It
- Expert panel discussion
- Networking reception
Attendees are encouraged to wear business casual attire. And I suggest you research how to network like a boss before attending so that you maximize the event’s opportunities for your career!
Donate gently used clothing and accessories to Dress for Success
To help Women’s Leadership Summit 2019 be all that it can be, the organizers encourage attendees to bring any gently used business wear for donation. Great items include clothing, shoes, belts, and accessories.
All of these pieces will go toward women in need. The Summit has partnered with Dress for Success to provide professional attire for jobseekers to wear to interviews.
I have personally volunteered with the Vancouver, Canada branch of the nonprofit organization and can attest to its value. So, clear out your closet of clutter and help women who can’t afford new clothing to look and feel their best so they can rise to achieve more.
Where to stay while visiting Princeton
Among the most important considerations that you’ll make while planning your trip is which hotel in the local metro area, Princeton, NJ, to book your accommodation in. Where you lay your head at night is as essential as the value you get from attending the 2019 Women’s Leadership Summit.
One popular option is the Hyatt Regency Princeton. With a convenient location near Route 1 and the Princeton Junction Train Station, it’s popular with business travelers.
The Westin Princeton at Forrestal Village is another good choice. Its location in the quaint Forrestal Village neighborhood makes it a pleasant stay.
Things to explore in the New Jersey area
If you love spending time outdoors, you’ll want to visit the iconic Jersey Shore and Mercer County Park. Both are locations full of beautiful scenery and are great for people to watch. If you prefer to spend time indoors getting some retail therapy, you’ll find Princeton Market Fair and Quaker Bridge Mall are great places to explore there.
There are many stores to choose from. Not to mention a lot of places to grab a quick bite to eat while you shop around.
If you’re a foodie and want to try out what Princeton has to offer in the way of fine dining, here are a few suggestions for where to dine out:
- Ruth Chris Steak House
- Agricola Eatery
At Elements, you’ll get an intimate experience as the restaurant only has nine tables and features an open kitchen. This open layout is also the main attraction at Agricola Eatery, where you’ll find yummy farm-to-table eats.
Many of the local dining establishments serve wine and spirits too, so you can relax after a long day of sightseeing, shopping, or networking. The atmosphere is just as important as the food served in Princeton’s fine dining restaurants.
