Thank You for Your Generous Support!

Thank you sign. I appreciate you all!

I am so humbled by the outpouring of support for this blog. When I posted last week to ask for donations, you met me with a smile, kind comment and even a monetary amount. Whether you offered one or all 3 of those things, I thank you ♥

The generosity you have shown me warms my heart. I realize more than ever that this blog has amazing potential. And every encouraging public or private comment about the blog posts here motivates me to keep going. Whenever you take time in your day to read anything here at When Women Inspire, please know that I appreciate it.

With the donations collected – thank you again! – I plan to use it to help this blog move forward… and more. Here’s how I will put your funds to good use:

  • WordPress.com domain renewal
  • Shipping costs for prizes associated with July subscriber contest – Stay tuned for details!
  • 4 hours spent job searching with pay @ my typical wage
  • 3 hours spent writing blog posts with pay @ my typical wage – Yes, new posts are coming your way ;)

This blog WILL continue!

I want you to know that I would never take your support for granted. I love your comments and likes on posts, as well as your reblogs and social media shares. I feel your love and want you to know that I send it out to you too! You remind me of that the kindness of people can be absolutely breathtaking ♥

Love Christy

  1. So glad you reached out & managed to get some support to keep things going, Christy – you rock and we’re all glad to be here and be a part of your journey! :)

  2. So glad you have this outpouring of love. It is so incredibly important to feel like the work we do is not in vain. Blogging can be a lonely road sometimes. But yes…there are many ways to monetize, especially once you have over 1,000 followers. As the saying goes, 1,000 true fans make it possible to earn a living at what you do. :)
Just keep plugging away. Your base is growing and you’ll figure it out. We got your back. <3

    1. Thanks sweet friend! Your words are like a warm hug xx I’m working on a redesign of this site and getting smart about SEO. So yes I’ll keep going – I just want to help people and this site is a great way to do it. I feel blessed by the opportunity to be able to do so. I can’t give up now! Love xxoo

  3. Dearest Christy, While I am unable to support your financially, you will always have my love and support here my friend.. I may come and go like the wind.. But I will always return.. Sending LOVE and Hugs your way, and I hope all things work out for you on your forward journey. xxx <3

    1. Thank you Sue for the warm words and they meet me with a smile. I am blessed by all the donations and friends… You are among those who I look forward to talking with. I’ll come visit you this week xxoo

  4. Hi Christy, I missed your other blog but I have now read it and left a small donation. I really enjoy your blog.🙂

  5. As long as you remain inspired to do what you’re doing, the blessings and support will always be there. Stay awesome, my dear friend! 😊🤗

  6. I missed the original post, too. But sending you all the best, Christy. Your work is so wonderful and inspiring. And you’ve made such a difference to so many of us! Thanks!

    1. Hi Jane! I’m looking into Patreon and other platforms like it. I may roll that out – If so, I’ll announce it here. I am so appreciative of you xo

    2. My lovely, I hope you don’t mind, but I wanted to share this. I have thoroughly researched Patreon and have just discovered something that jars….when you sign up, set your page up etc…. they ask you to email your friends and contacts to become creators too. No problem with that, but you then get a % of their patron income (from Patreon’s cut) and you both get bonuses. This smacks of pyramid selling to me…it could be an old trigger of mine, but it’s put me off. What do you think? Xxx <3

  7. You can do anything as long as you have the passion, the drive, the focus, and the support. Sabrina Bryan …Do it Christy, you have all listed. You Can Do It !!!
