So, how can you promote your own healthy healing?
When most people think about reaching optimal levels of health, they often do so in general terms. If you’re someone that’s always put focus on dieting or trying to commit to a workout schedule as your way of being healthy, then you’re not alone.
And you’re not wrong either. But it’s safe to say that this isn’t going to be the only way to start to take care of yourself.
Because a lot of the time, your health is so much more complex than this. For starters, make sure that you can heal. If you know that you’re not feeling your best, focusing on changing will help the most.
Process your emotions
First of all, learn how to process your emotions. Even if you don’t think that you’re someone that suffers emotionally, you may be.
If you tend to let everything build up or ignore your emotions, then you’re going to be doing a lot of damage to your mind and your general health. Instead, acknowledge your emotions; accept and work with those feelings.
Blocking them out means you’ll take longer to get through the healthy healing journey.
Healthy healing involves sleeping well
From here, ensure that you establish a healthy sleep pattern. Our bodies naturally heal while asleep.
This process is automatic on a physical level. And by looking at the lucid dreaming guide, it’s obvious healing can occur on an emotional and mental level too.
If you’re mentally exhausted or not at ease, your mind can heal and get answers when you snooze. Thus, establish healthy sleep patterns to help your mind and body do so.
Start talking
Have unresolved issues on your mind? Is something troubling you?
Then you need to learn to let it all out, at least if healthy healing is your goal. When you talk about your problems, you can be in a much better position mentally to cope with the past, present, and future.
Plus, these conversations will allow you to get stronger emotionally than before.
Set goals too for healthy healing
Finally, setting goals can help you too. If you know that you need to make a change in your life, you often need to give yourself a direction.
By setting goals that make you happy, you should find that you can heal your mind and move forward in a more positive direction.

I am beyond thrilled that I saw this post. Thanks again Christy!
I appreciate your enthusiasm!
A fantastic post and could easily be taken from my own healing actions in processing my past, present and future self. Harmoni
Wonderful to hear you find it valuable <3
Processing is possibly the most difficult, but necessary to continue on the healing process Excellent post Christy. <3
My favorite in this area is to remember to learn how to breathe. I used to think my therapist was kind of annoying for saying that all the time and signing her emails that way too. That is until I started to remember her words when I would be all distraught, and lo and behold, remembering to breathe can really help!
Thank you for this step-by-step. I need so much healing right now… haha :)
Excellent post, finding these tips useful !
Well written..👍
Thank you for reminding me this. Sometimes, I forgot about how to keep myself healthy.
Great reminders, Christy! It is so easy to forget to tend to our emotional health when we are busy or stressed, or simply focused on physical fitness. Thanks for the heads up!
I agree with thees ideas. Thank you for this article!
so lovely
Great piece of work there, Christy!
Points quite well explained. :)
So often, I steep, steep, steep, and then I feel better. The only thing that changed was that I let off some steam by talking to someone about it. :)
This is a wonderful primer on healing, Christy. Thanks so much for sharing the Lucid Dreaming Guide. It’s very timely for me ❤️
Well, Christy, it’s sad to say there is a new healing needed today, in Toronto and Canada. As Canadians, we need to process and heal from the hideous ordeal of a van killing 9 and injuring 16. Processing our emotions, and talking are a great start. Listening to & loving those traumatized could be added to the very particular healing list that I speak of! Solidarity!
Excellent piece, Christy! Well written and very important points made. <3
So true.
This is a wonderful post. I often write about fractured people in my poetry. I do think that we are all broken, in our own way. Self healing is an essential part of life for us to grow and evolve.
Yes, yes, yes…. Thank you for these reminders of how to help ourselves heal.
