Very interesting, Christy. I never knew so much was involved in animal science, but it makes sense; today’s farmers are using very high tech equipment for crops so it follows that there have been great advances in animal husbandry and production also.

I think, the growing population of the world, will increase the amount of food demand. Livestock and livestock industry, will be much needed. Because of lack of information, the millenials are less interested in the field of animal husbandry. These fields include biology, chemistry, anatomy, dietary energy protein vitamins & minerals, food science, health, and therefore belong to the agro-complex. Very good post.
