  1. Thanks for sharing, Christy! It’s so hard to believe that sixteen years have already passed since this horrible day, a senseless act of violence. I still vividly remember that morning and watching this tragedy on the news and how we all felt. It was horrifying, and our hearts still ache for the victims and their families. Many hugs…

  2. That day is permanently etched in my mind. I still feel the sensation of my heart being ripped out, of a tremendous anger, the deepest sadness, the horrific realization of this evil unleashed. It was the beginning of a new era, certainly for the US, but for the whole world. Thanks for posting.

  3. Heading over to check out the post. It’s hard to think that 16 years have passed.
Also, I hope all of our Florida friends have fared well through Irma.

  4. Thanks for sharing Christy, that was such an unbelievable day. I lived in NY at the time, 80th and 1st and you could smell the fire burning for weeks. Awful day for so many that weren’t as fortunate as I. If you ever saw those buildings, they were magnificent. The memorial is great to see – so sad and senseless. Thank you for sharing.

  5. I am against killing innocent people of any nationality or race or religion…killing innocent is a crime….pray for the peace of the world !!!
