Fantastic articles and mural. Someone has to do a mini series! I’ve also left comment at Resa’s blog. <3 :)
You have no idea how close to the mark you are, dear Debby. Thanks for always making time here xx
Always a treat! <3
It is a lovely mural! It reminds me of watching “Heritage Minutes” when I was a kid. There was one about Nellie McClung, I believe, on how she finally triumphed and totally burned the PM :)
Yes, good memory! She was in the Heritage Minutes Collection. I’m attaching the link here and thanks for reminding us about it :) https://youtu.be/SdbG6EIHrbs
We must continue in Nellie’s footsteps…
Yes, we must! That is why I was so attracted to “When Women Inspire” blog! It was love at first sight! :D
Awww Resa ♥
Indeed! xx
Great series, Christy. Thanks.
Oh thank you my friend for joining us here xx
A wonderful collaboration, Christy, between yourself and Resa; bringing with it very important issues that continue to face the world of to-day. Slowly, equality between the sexes, in some parts of our world, has a great foot-hold; though, it is only by constant monitoring and lobbying that keeps the momentum progressing forward.
Well done to both of you…
We are thankful for your support here, Carolyn, which helps women move forward as we can be stronger as a group xx
TY, Carolyn. Your intellect and support mean everything. It’s so exciting collaborating with Christy. Now, I’m looking for women’s murals and Street Art everywhere I go, and OMG, I think I saw a Queen Victoria piece today! I would have got off the street car, but it’s snowing and -17C. … Yes, I was rugged up! xo
Wait…they got the vote in 1914!? WOW!
And to think how much resistance there was. But the women did it anyways. :)
Thanks for sharing this. xo
We’re so glad to have you here! By learning about the determined women of the past, hopefully females now and in the future will keep fighting for what they believe in xx
Christy, loving these posts. Another fabulous idea xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thank you Shey for appreciating the posts from Resa and I in honor of Nellie McClung. We’re on Cloud 9 with the support we’re receiving for the series. It is so nice you made time here! xx
I made it here the other day but I was running hard to stand still. I thought, I will get a comment up yet and I have. You deserve all this support my darling x
Your words are so humbling xx Resa and I are smiling :)
Listen, my words are nothing. Your work is always amazing, and when you team up with other talents, it is doubly so xxx
Shey, I’m humbled xx Your support means a lot to me
So inspiring! Thanks for doing this series. Mega hugs.
Ohhh it has been the focus for Resa and I for a while now and we’re so pleased with the responses, including this one from you! Hugging back ~ you know it :)
Amazing :star: Wonderful mural with such an empowering meaning and History behind it!. Great project (and results!), Chris & Resa. Love & hugs across the miles! :star:
Yes, “empowering” is a great word and you’ve used it here in such a way that I’m beaming right now ~ I’m sure Resa is too :) Thank you for being a shining star!!
Hugs! :star: <3 :star:
This is so exciting! I can’t think of a better home for “Nellie Week” than here on “When Women Inspire”!
Christy, it is so fab working with you! <3 <3
(Hope I find another special mural)
Oh sweet friend, the pleasure is all mine <3 This week of Nellie is divine xx Yes, who knows what murals you might happen upon next?!!
Thank goodness the trailblazers blaze forward despite the naysayers! Great post, Christy. Have a beautiful day!
Yes! It seems so much easier most times to give up but if everyone did so, well, it would be quite the state of the world right now. Thank you for being here xx
