This is a wonderful post from blogger Kate at FlippyZipFlop about being positive. I loved the line “Be happy that life is a gift you are not taking for granted.” So true!
An affirmation opens the door. It’s a beginning point on the path to change.
So true! Here’s to kind pathways ahead.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I started using daily positive affirmations a year ago, and it helped lift me out of a crippling depression. I’m definitely not discouraging people from seeking professional help when they’re severely depressed (indeed, I should have done so), but positive affirmations can really make a difference in your life. They can change your attitude, and your change in attitude can change circumstance.
Hi Tricia, Always nice to hear from you. Yes, therapy helped me when I was severely depressed. I think as you say those words can truly start to make a difference and with the external supports such as therapy we can start to see more light than dark in life… HUGS!
I loved her positive outlook that she carries for her life. Its really inspiring to me!! Thanks for sharing it out! my friend :)
Oh I’m so glad you enjoyed the read too, Swetank :D And thanks to you too!
I believe in positive thinking but we have to acknowledge those negative thoughts whether they are from internal or external sources. We need to tape over those negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. :)
That’s an excellent response. That wording of ‘tape over’ is so true. Thank you :)
Lovely to spread positivity around, it’s contagious. I believe that what we focus on we bring, so why not keep it positive? :)
So true!! Thumbs up to positive energy :D
What a wonderful vibe to spread around. Thanks for sharing Christy! :)
Oh so nice :) Thanks, Charlene!
